Living Behind Glass: The Unseen Blocks That Hold Us Back

It often starts with a quiet ache. Not the kind that comes from doing too much, but the kind that comes from constantly feeling… not enough.

You’ve tried. You’ve read the books, scribbled your truths into journals. You’ve whispered affirmations into the bathroom mirror before the world wakes up. You’ve set intentions, lit candles, and told yourself this time will be different.

And yet, when the day slows down and you’re left with your thoughts, that familiar question returns:

“What’s wrong with me?”

You can’t quite explain it. You’re moving through life, but it feels just slightly out of tune. Like you’re dancing to music only you can hear and somehow, you’re always half a beat behind.

The Invisible Walls We Build

I think of Lena. Not her real name, but her real story.

When we first spoke, she told me she felt like she was living behind glass. She could see joy, ease, connection — but always at arm’s length. Close enough to crave, far enough to never touch.

“I’ve done therapy. Coaching. Energy work,” she said.“I know what I should believe. I just… don’t feel it.”

In her RTT session, we traced that feeling back, back through layers of years, back to an eight-year-old girl standing in a house heavy with silence.

Her older sister had just experienced a mental health crisis. The family was shaken. In that moment, Lena’s young mind made a vow:

Don’t make things harder. Don’t take up space. Stay small, and maybe everything will be okay.

And so she became the peacekeeper. The good girl. The one who didn’t rock the boat.

Her subconscious learned that her needs were dangerous. Her voice was disruptive. And over time, she built invisible walls not to keep the world out, but to keep herself “safe” inside.

Healing Isn’t Adding, It’s Remembering

Here’s the thing: Most healing methods start at the surface, changing habits, managing thoughts. But the roots? They’re buried deeper, in the quiet soil of the subconscious.

With Lena, RTT allowed us to go there to find the exact moment her belief took hold, to offer her younger self the love and validation she’d been missing, to rewire the truth she carried into something that supported her.

Her personalized recording became her daily anchor:

I am safe to be seen. My voice matters. It’s okay to take up space.

And with each listen, the glass walls began to dissolve.

She started showing up in her business without apology. She spoke about her needs in her relationship without the tremor of guilt. One day, she laughed a full, unguarded, head-thrown-back laugh and said to me, "I feel like I got my life back."

You Were Never Broken

You’re not “too much. ”You’re not “not enough.”

You’re simply carrying a story that doesn’t belong to you anymore.

What if your anxiety is just an old defense mechanism? What if your fear of rejection began in a single, tender moment where you needed love the most? What if the heaviness you feel is your body saying: It’s time to let go now.

RTT doesn’t “fix” you because there is nothing to fix. It simply helps you remember:

Who were you before the walls? What you truly believe beneath the fear. How to live in alignment with your truth.

Your Light Is Still Here

In my RTT sessions, you are held in a space that is safe, compassionate, and deeply honoring of your story. There is no judgment. No pushing. No pretending you’re “fine. ”Only truth. Only release. Only the reminder that you are already whole.

✨ One session can reveal the moment the block was built.✨ Your personalized recording can rewire the patterns that no longer serve you.✨ You can step into your life unguarded, confident, and free.

You were never broken. You were becoming. And now, you are ready to bloom.
